does this clamp work for 3/8 tubing or is that just the thread size they're referrin to?

The 3/8 inch measurement refers to the tubing size this clamp is built to support, not the thread or hardware dimensions. It holds 3/8 inch fluid conductors in place and is part of the 100-200 Series lineup from Hydra-Zorb. The clamp body is zinc plated steel, and it comes with a steel weld stud and a steel Nylock nut, so everything you need for a secure mount is included in the assembly.
