Product Questions & Answers

trying to hook a DIN tube line to a 1/4 NPT port. is this the right adapter?
Question by: Lee B on Feb 3, 2026, 7:49 AM
For that kind of hookup, it’s a straight steel adapter with an M14 x 1.5 DIN tube end (size S06) on one side and a 1/4 inch male NPT end on the other, called out as 1/4 - 18 NPTF.

Will this fitting hold up okay if I'm using it for hydraulics on a piece of farm equipment? Just wondering if it's tough enough.
Question by: Ralph G on Apr 17, 2025, 3:26 PM
Because this fitting is made of steel, it offers good durability for hydraulic applications. It's designed to adapt DIN tube connections to standard NPT connections, providing a secure link in your hydraulic system.

fitting goes from DIN tube to NPT, but which end threads into the port and which one takes the tube?
Question by: Dustin A on Jan 10, 2026, 3:10 PM
The male NPT side, which carries a 1/4-18 NPTF thread, is the end that screws into your port. The opposite end is the DIN tube connection, M14 x 1.5, and that's where your tube seats. Both sides are male, so neither end is a receptacle. Straight configuration, no angle to account for during installation.
