Will this pump work with Viton seals if I need it to handle higher temperatures?

With FPM (Viton) seals, this pump can handle temperatures from -4°F to 230°F. Standard Buna-N seals are rated for 5°F to 185°F.

clockwise rotation only, or can this pump be flipped to run counterclockwise if needed?

Rotation on this pump can be changed by reversing the positions of the drive shaft and driven shaft and rotating the front flange. It ships standard with clockwise rotation, but the configuration is not locked in permanently. Worth noting before you swap anything around though, the inlet and outlet ports are side-mounted, SAE -10 on the inlet and SAE -8 on the outlet, so plan your hydraulic connections accordingly once you decide on rotation direction.
