what's the hose dash size on this fitting and will it work on a -8 hose line?

the hose dash size is -8, so it'll mate up with a -8 hose assembly without any issue. The end type on the second connection is rated for line, hose, or tube, which gives you some flexibility depending on how your system is configured. The first end is a female JIC 37, with an end size of 0.875 and a hex size of 0.75, so make sure those dimensions line up with what you're connecting to before you button it up.
