Dura-Kote plating gives this fitting excellent corrosion resistance, which should help it hold up well in demanding hydraulic applications. The carbon steel construction is also pretty tough.

fitting's made from carbon steel -- does the coating hold up when it's sitting around in wet or dirty conditions for a while?
