This fitting is designed for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulics. If you anticipate shock hazards, it is recommended to use H277 or H435 hose.

got a -5 hose and need a 90 that’ll swivel into a JIC 37 female, is the 05E-665 the right style?

For a -5 hose assembly, the 05E-665 is a 90 degree tube elbow fitting with a JIC 37 degree female swivel end, built as an E Series crimp hose fitting.
