fitting says it works with H277 or H435 hose, is that just for certain conditions or is one of them the standard pick?
Question by: Neil H on Nov 12, 2025, 9:51 PM
H277 or H435 are both compatible, but the guidance is pretty specific: go with one of those two when shock hazards are part of the picture. Outside of that concern, this is rated for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulic use, so your application determines which hose makes more sense. If shock loading is a real factor in your system, that's when the hose selection matters most.

trying to match up a crimp fitting i’ve got, is 04E-605 the JIC 37 female swivel with a 1/2 inch end?
Question by: Pete G on Jun 6, 2025, 6:32 PM
Match it by the key identifiers: supplier part number 04E-605, JIC 37 end type, female swivel end gender, and a 0.5 inch end size. It is an E Series crimp hose fitting assembly made from carbon steel.

What kind of hydraulic applications is this fitting best suited for?
Question by: Pete C on Jun 24, 2025, 8:17 AM
It's designed for general purpose low and medium pressure hydraulic systems, and it's especially good to use with H277 or H435 hoses in places where you might get some shock.
