got a 1 inch tube i need to tie into a JIC line, is this the right adapter or am i off a size

The bore side is for 1 inch tube OD, and the other end is a male JIC SAE 37 degree flare with 1-5/16-12 threads built to SAE J514. If your hose end is a matching female JIC 37 degree flare in that same size, this is the straight adapter that mates those two.

what's the thread spec on the male JIC end of this thing? need to make sure it'll play nice with my existing fittings before I order

The male JIC end runs a 1-5/16-12 thread and conforms to SAE J514 with a 37-degree flare seat. That's a standard -16 JIC male, so if your mating fitting is spec'd to SAE J514 at that same thread size, you're good to go.
