what spec does this tube sleeve meet, and is it a standard size most folks would run into regular hydraulic work?

Meets SAE J514, which is one of the more common standards you'll find across general hydraulic fittings and tube connections. The tube OD size is 3/8 inch, so it fits right in with a lot of everyday hydraulic line work without needing anything unusual to go along with it.

For a 3/8 inch tube OD JIC connection, this sleeve matches that size and it is a JIC tube sleeve built to the SAE J514 specification.

This JIC tube sleeve is made for use with 3/8" OD tubing.
