flow rate on this thing is listed at 400 LPM, that enough to hold up in a press or die casting setup running pretty hard?

For press and die casting applications, 400 liters per minute is a solid capacity. Those environments put real demand on pressure control, and this valve was built with exactly those use cases in mind. Die casting and foundry work are both listed applications, so it's not just capable on paper, it's spec'd for that kind of duty.
