flow rate on this one says 80 liters per minute -- is that enough for press or die casting work, or is it cutting it close for those kinds of setups?

For most die casting and press applications, 80 liters per minute gives you solid working headroom. These environments do push valves hard, but that flow rating is right in line with what those systems typically demand. As long as your circuit is sized to match, you shouldn't be starving the valve or asking it to do more than it's built for.
