flow rate on this one is listed at 80 liters per minute -- is that enough for most press or machine tool setups running in a mid-range production environment?

For most mid-range machine tool and press applications, 80 liters per minute sits comfortably in a practical working range. It won't be the right pick for very high-volume systems pushing well past that threshold, but for standard production cycles in those environments it holds up well. The valve covers three- or four-way directional control, so you've got flexibility on how the flow gets routed depending on your circuit design.
