Product Questions & Answers

What kind of machines or systems would this valve typically be used in?
Question by: Wayne M on Nov 1, 2025, 5:07 PM
Use-case-first. This directional control valve shines in applications like die casting, machine tools, marine/offshore equipment, presses, and even turbine control for wind, steam, and water setups.

flow rate on this valve is listed at 94 liters per minute, that enough for press applications or is it gonna be cutting it close?
Question by: Hugh R on Sep 24, 2025, 12:01 PM
For press work, 94 liters per minute is a solid flow capacity and falls well within what these two-stage directional valves are built to handle. Press applications are actually one of the listed uses for this valve, so you're not pushing it into territory it wasn't meant for. The Buna-N seals hold up well in typical hydraulic fluid environments, and the 30-watt coil keeps power draw reasonable on the solenoid side. As long as your system's pressure and flow demands line up with that 94 LPM rating, you should be in good shape.
