flow rate on this thing is listed at 80 LPM -- is that enough for press and die casting work or is it gonna be a bottleneck?

For most press and die casting setups, 80 liters per minute is a solid working capacity. This valve series was built with those exact environments in mind, along with primary metal processing and machine tool applications, so the flow rating lines up with what those systems typically demand. If your circuit is running closer to the upper edge of that range continuously, just make sure your line sizing supports it, but the valve itself is rated for that throughput.
