Product Questions & Answers

What kinda machines is this valve typically used on? I got a press that's been givin' me fits.
Question by: Kent T on Jan 25, 2026, 3:44 PM
Common applications for this Danfoss/Eaton valve include machine tools, presses, primary metal processing, marine/offshore equipment, die casting and foundries, and turbine control systems. It's also suitable for test equipment and simulation rigs.

Flow rate on this one says 80 litres per minute, is that enough for a press application or should I be lookin at something heavier duty?
Question by: Rhonda M on May 14, 2025, 7:31 AM
For press applications, 80 litres per minute is a solid working capacity and falls well within the range that most industrial press circuits actually call for. This valve comes from the Vickers DG4V-3 series and is explicitly listed for press use alongside machine tool and primary metal environments, so it's not a stretch to say it fits that duty. The 30-watt solenoid keeps power draw reasonable across repeated switching cycles too, which matters when you're running a press through high-cycle production work.
