flow rate on this valve is listed at 80 liters per minute -- is that enough to run a machine tool setup without bogging down?

For most machine tool applications, 80 liters per minute is solid. That flow capacity puts it well within range for standard machining centers and tooling circuits that don't require extreme volume. The valve is specifically listed for machine tool use, so it's been sized with those demands in mind. As long as your system isn't pulling more than that peak flow, you shouldn't run into performance issues under normal operating conditions.
