That's right. This Vickers valve is applicable across a wide range of sectors, including machine tool applications. It's also used in press, marine and offshore, die casting and foundry, primary metal, paper, turbine control, and test and simulation equipment.

We run a paper mill and been looking at upgrading our directional valves. This Vickers unit handle flows up to 115 litres per minute, or is that the ceiling you don't want to push past?

115 litres per minute is the rated maximum flow for this valve. Running right at the ceiling on any hydraulic component for extended periods is generally not ideal practice, so if your typical operating flow is close to that figure, you'd want to account for that in your system design. For most industrial paper mill circuits that stay below that threshold, the valve should fit the application well.
