Is this valve something that can be mounted without a whole lot of fuss?

Being easily mountable on industry-standard surfaces is a key feature of these Vickers valves.

flow rate on this valve is listed at 115 liters per minute -- is that enough for press and die casting work or is it cutting it close for those kind of applications?

For press and die casting setups, 115 liters per minute is a solid flow capacity. Both of those application types are explicitly listed as fits for this valve, so it's not a stretch at all. Where you'd want to take a closer look is if your system is consistently running at the top end of that range under heavy cycle loads, but for most press and die casting use, that flow rate handles the demands just fine.
