flow rate on this one is listed at 80 liters per minute -- is that enough for press or die casting work, or is it usually on the lower end for those applications?

80 liters per minute handles a solid range of press and die casting setups without issue. That flow capacity sits comfortably within what those environments typically demand, and this valve is specifically called out for both die casting and foundry work as well as press applications. So you're not stretching it by putting it to use in either of those settings.
