Will this work okay in a hydraulic press application? I'm seeing some folks use it for that.

Flow rate on this one shows 700 liters per minute, that enough volume for a big press setup, or is that pushing the limits of what this valve handles?

700 liters per minute is a substantial flow capacity, and press applications are actually one of the listed uses for this valve. So if your press system is sized within that range, you're working well within what this valve was built for. It covers both three-way and four-way directional control, which gives you flexibility depending on how your circuit is configured.
