Flow rate on this thing listed at 700 liters per minute, that enough to handle a heavy-duty press application without choking down?
Question by: Sherry B on Mar 23, 2026, 8:33 PM
For press applications, 700 liters per minute is a solid ceiling. Most industrial press circuits run well within that range, and this valve is explicitly rated for press use, so you're not pushing it into territory it wasn't built for. Just make sure your system demand peaks stay under that 700 LPM mark and you'll be in good shape.

Wondering what this Vickers valve is typically used for?

This directional control valve works well in die casting and foundry setups, along with machine tools and marine systems. It's also a solid choice for presses, primary metal processing, paper mills, test equipment, simulation rigs, and turbine control systems that use wind, steam, or water.
