flow rate on this one is listed at 80 litres per minute -- is that enough for a press application or should i be looking at something bigger?

For most press circuits, 80 litres per minute is plenty of capacity. Presses are actually one of the listed applications for this valve, so it was built with that kind of duty in mind. Whether it fits your specific circuit depends on what your pump output and actuator demands look like, but the flow rating itself is not a limiting factor for typical press work.

got a hydraulic setup that runs around 80 liters a minute. is this DG4V36 valve gonna keep up or is that pushing it?
