flow rate on this one is listed at 80 liters per minute, is that enough to handle press and die casting work without bogging down?

For press and die casting applications, 80 liters per minute is a solid working flow rate. Both of those environments put real demand on a directional control valve, and this unit is specifically listed for die casting and foundry use as well as press applications. As long as your system is sized to stay within that flow ceiling, you should get consistent, reliable fluid control without performance dropping off.
