Flow rate on this one says 40 liters per minute, that enough for most standard industrial directional control setups or is it more of a light-duty rating?

For the majority of industrial hydraulic circuits that rely on directional control, 40 liters per minute is a solid working figure. It sits comfortably in the range used by a wide variety of machine tool, press, and general factory automation applications. If your system is running well under that threshold, you've got room to work with. If you're pushing right up against it or above, you'd want to look at a higher-flow valve in the DG4V series.
