flow rate on this thing goes up to 700 LPM -- that right? we're running a pretty high-demand press application and need to make sure it'll keep up

For press applications, 700 liters per minute is the rated maximum flow on this valve, so high-demand press work falls squarely within what it was built for. It's also listed specifically under press as one of its supported applications, so you're not pushing it into territory it wasn't meant for.
