flow rate on this thing is listed at 700 liters per minute, is that enough for press and die casting work or is it right on the edge?

For press and die casting applications, 700 liters per minute is a solid capacity. Die casting and press systems can demand high flow during rapid cycling, and this valve was built with exactly those environments in mind. It's also rated for primary metal, marine, turbine control, and machine tool use, so it's not a lightweight unit by any stretch. If your system runs within that flow range, you're in good shape.
