what kind of environments is this valve actually built for? got some pretty rough conditions in the shop and need something that'll hold up

Buna-N seals and a build spec that covers die casting, foundry work, primary metal processing, and marine/offshore use means it was put together with harsh operating conditions in mind. Heat, contamination, and demanding cycles are all part of the territory this valve was rated for. Paper manufacturing and turbine control are also on that list, so it's not a light-duty piece of equipment by any stretch.
