flow rated at 42 gpm on this one -- is that enough for a refuse hauler running multiple functions at once?

For a single-circuit proportional flow control application on a refuse hauler, 160 L/min (42 USgpm) is a solid capacity. The EPV16 series is actually called out specifically for refuse hauler use, so it fits right in that kind of duty. Where you'd want to think carefully is if you're trying to run multiple simultaneous functions through one valve, since that 42 gpm rating is the ceiling for this cartridge. Each circuit needs its own valve in that case.
