flow rate on this valve is listed at 40 LPM -- that enough for a press application or should i be lookin at somethin bigger?

For a lot of press setups, 40 liters per minute is right in the working range. Whether it covers your specific system depends on your cylinder bore, stroke speed, and how the rest of your circuit is sized, but that flow rate is a reasonable fit for mid-range press work. The valve also supports three- or four-way directional control, so you've got some flexibility in how you configure it for your press circuit.
