Got a die casting setup that's been running hard for years and we're finally swapping out the directional valve. This Vickers DG5V-10-H-6N-3-M-U-B-10, is it actually built for that kind of environment or is it more of a general-purpose unit?

Die casting is one of the core applications this valve was built around, along with foundry work and primary metal processing. Those environments run hot, dirty, and demanding, and the Buna-N seals hold up well under those conditions.
