flow rate on this thing is listed at 700 liters per minute, is that enough for a press or primary metal setup running pretty hard?

For press and primary metal applications, 700 liters per minute is a serious amount of flow. That puts it well into heavy-duty territory, and it's one of the reasons this valve gets used in those environments. If your system demands are in that range or below, you're in good shape with this one.
