flow rate on this valve is listed at 80 liters per minute -- is that enough to handle press and die casting applications without struggling to keep up?

For most press and die casting setups, 80 liters per minute is a solid working capacity. Those applications do put real demand on a directional control valve, but this unit is specifically listed for both die casting and foundry use as well as press applications, so it was built with that kind of workload in mind. Whether that flow rate is sufficient for your particular circuit depends on your system design, but the rating itself is not a limitation that would exclude it from those environments.

Is this thing pretty easy to get mounted up?
