flow rate on this one is listed at 80 liters per minute -- is that enough to handle press or die casting work without bogging down?

For most press and die casting setups, 80 liters per minute gives you solid working capacity. Those applications are specifically listed among the intended uses for this valve, so it's built with those flow demands in mind. Whether that ceiling is enough depends on your system's total demand, but 80 LPM is a respectable rate for directional control in those environments and shouldn't be a limiting factor in a properly sized circuit.
