flow rate on this one is 40 LPM if I'm reading right, that enough for a press application or should I be looking at something bigger?

For press applications, 40 litres per minute is a solid fit in many setups. Press is actually one of the listed application types for this valve, so it's been spec'd with that kind of work in mind. What kind of fluid seals are on this valve?

This valve uses Buna-N seals, which are compatible with a pretty wide range of hydraulic fluids.
