flow rate on this thing is listed at 700 liters per minute, is that enough for press and die casting work or is that more for lighter duty setups?

For press and die casting applications, 700 liters per minute is a substantial flow capacity. Those environments tend to demand high-volume, high-cycle performance, and this valve is specifically listed as suitable for both. Die casting and foundry work in particular puts real stress on directional control valves, so having that kind of flow rating built in matters. It's not a light-duty number by any stretch.

This Vickers valve is really built for some tough spots. We're talking die casting, foundries, machine shops, offshore rigs, metal processing plants... places where things get rough.
