flow rate on this one is listed at 80 liters per minute -- that enough for press or die casting work, or is it more suited to lighter duty stuff?

80 liters per minute puts it squarely in range for press and die casting applications. Vickers lists both of those as intended uses for this valve, so you're not pushing it outside its design envelope. It also covers machine tool work, turbine control, and a few other heavier industrial setups, so it handles real load without being a light-duty part.
