Product Questions & Answers

Reckon this valve could handle the hydraulic needs of a die casting machine?
Question by: Gene T on Mar 29, 2026, 7:33 AM
This directional control valve is definitely up to the task for die casting and foundry applications. It's also well-suited for machine tools, marine/offshore setups, presses, primary metal, paper, test equipment, simulation, and even turbine control systems.

flow rate on this thing -- is 115 liters per minute enough for press and die casting work, or is that on the lower end for those applications?
Question by: Neil M on Aug 27, 2025, 10:21 AM
For die casting and press applications, 115 liters per minute is a solid working flow rate. It puts this valve well within range for the kind of hydraulic demands those environments typically push through a directional control valve. The DG4V series was built with exactly those uses in mind, along with primary metal, turbine control, and machine tool setups, so you're not stretching it thin running it in a press or foundry line.
