Flow rate on this thing is listed at 700 liters per minute, is that enough for press and die casting work, or is this more of a light-duty valve?

For press and die casting applications, 700 liters per minute is a solid capacity. Those environments push high flow demands through directional control valves, and this unit is explicitly rated and marketed for both.
