flow rate on this valve is listed at 80 LPM -- is that enough for die casting equipment or do most folks running that kind of work need something higher?

80 liters per minute covers a solid range of die casting applications. Most standard die casting circuits run well within that capacity, so unless you're working with unusually high-demand tooling that requires substantially more volume, this valve fits right in. It's also rated for press and primary metal work, which tend to have similar flow demands, so the 80 LPM rating holds up across that whole category of heavy industrial use.
