flow rate on this thing is listed at 700 litres per minute, is that gonna hold up running press equipment or bigger hydraulic circuits?

For press systems, 700 litres per minute is a solid ceiling, and this valve was built with exactly that kind of application in mind. Press systems, die casting equipment, primary metal processing, those are all listed use cases for the DG5V-10 series. As long as your circuit demand stays within that flow rating, you're working within the valve's intended range.
