Product Questions & Answers

Will this valve hold up in a die casting setup? Those can be pretty demanding.
Question by: Carl B on Feb 6, 2026, 9:03 AM
Application-wise, this Vickers valve is indeed well-suited for die casting and foundry equipment, along with machine tools, presses, and other heavy industrial uses.

flow rate on this thing is listed at 80 LPM, that enough to run a decent-sized press circuit without choking down?
Question by: Dean H on Sep 12, 2025, 9:29 AM
For most press applications, 80 litres per minute is a solid working ceiling. The DG4V-3 series handles three- or four-way directional control, so it fits naturally into press circuits where you need reliable switching between extend and retract positions. As long as your system demand stays at or under that 80 LPM threshold, you won't be starving the circuit. The 30-watt solenoid draw is also pretty modest, which keeps heat buildup at the coil from becoming a headache in continuous press cycles.
