Can this valve handle the kinda flow rates we see in our die casting shop? We push things pretty hard.

For die casting and foundry applications, this Vickers valve can handle a flow rate of 80 liters per minute.

Flow rate on this one shows 80 litres per minute. That enough for a mid-size press application, or would it be pushing the valve too hard?

For a mid-size press, 80 litres per minute sits comfortably in the range this valve was built for. Press applications are actually listed among the intended uses for the DG4V-3 series, so you're not forcing it into territory it wasn't meant for. Just make sure your circuit demands don't regularly spike above that flow figure, and you should be in good shape.
