flow rate on this valve is listed at 115 liters per minute -- is that enough for a press application or should I be looking at something bigger?
Question by: Dale W on Nov 23, 2025, 5:26 PM
For most press setups, 115 liters per minute is a solid working capacity. The DG4V4-01 series is explicitly rated for press applications, so it's not a stretch to say this valve was built with that kind of demand in mind. Whether it's enough really comes down to your cylinder size and cycle speed, but the flow ceiling here gives you decent headroom for mid-range press work without stepping up to a larger valve body.

i’m swapping out an old Vickers DG4V4-01 valve. Is this one the single-stage directional control style?
Question by: Jimmy C on Feb 18, 2026, 6:47 PM
Built as a DG4V4-01 10 design directional control valve, this model is a single-stage unit meant for three- or four-way directional control.

Will this valve fit on standard industrial mounting surfaces?
Question by: Wayne M on Apr 12, 2025, 6:49 PM
Easily mountable on industry-standard surfaces, this directional control valve should be a drop-in replacement.
