Does this valve stack with other manifold-mounted units, or does it need to be plumbed in separately like a standard directional valve?

Stacking is exactly what it's built for. The DGMPC-3 is part of the Vickers SystemStak series, so it mounts directly with other compatible manifold-mounted valves in the same stack. That arrangement cuts down on the external hydraulic connections you'd normally deal with and eliminates a good number of potential leak points in the process. For machine tool setups or other industrial circuits where keeping things tight and clean matters, that's a real practical advantage over individually plumbed valve assemblies.
