flow rate on this unit is listed at 300 liters per minute, is that enough to handle a die casting setup running pretty hard?

For die casting applications, 300 liters per minute is a solid capacity and well within the range of what most die casting circuits demand. This valve was built with that environment in mind, so it's not a stretch to run it in a foundry or casting setup operating under sustained load. The Buna-N seals hold up well against the hydraulic fluids commonly used in those systems too, so longevity shouldn't be a concern in that kind of duty.
