Reckon this valve will fit where the old one was? Seems like they all *say* "industry standard" til you get the wrench out.

It does mount on industry-standard surfaces, so it should fit right in to existing hydraulic systems.

flow rate on this valve is listed at 160 litres per minute -- is that enough for a press application or would it be cutting it close?

For most press circuits, 160 litres per minute gives you solid working room. Press applications are specifically listed among the intended uses for this valve, so it was built with that kind of demand in mind. Whether it's cutting it close really comes down to your system's peak flow requirements. If your circuit stays within that 160 LPM ceiling, you're in good shape.
