Product Questions & Answers

If I'm running a die casting setup, is this valve gonna hold up to the heat and mess?
Question by: Clint A on Dec 17, 2025, 2:46 PM
This proportional valve is definitely suitable for die casting and foundry applications, along with machine tool, marine/offshore, press, primary metal and paper, test equipment, and turbine control. Fluorocarbon seals ensure compatibility with a range of fluids under demanding conditions.

We run a press line and been looking at proportional valves in this size range. What kind of flow can we expect out of this one, and is it something that'd work for that type of application?
Question by: Duane T on Nov 13, 2025, 9:06 AM
Press applications are actually listed as one of the intended uses for this valve, so you're in the right ballpark. Flow capacity tops out at 130 litres per minute, which puts it in a solid range for demanding press use. It's a direct-acting proportional valve, so you get responsive flow control without the added complexity of pilot-operated designs. The fluorocarbon seals hold up well in tough fluid environments, which matters on a press line where you don't want seal degradation causing headaches down the road.
