Flow rate on this one says 40 litres per minute, that enough for a press circuit running moderate loads, or are we gonna be pushing it?

For press applications running at moderate demand, 40 litres per minute is right in the working range this valve was built for. Press circuits are actually one of the listed application types for the DG4V-3 series, so you're not stretching it. Just make sure your system isn't consistently peaking above that flow rating or you'll be working the valve harder than it's rated for.
