flow rate on this one says 120 litres per minute -- is that enough for most standard machine tool setups or is it on the lower end?

For the bulk of machine tool applications, 120 litres per minute is solid. Most standard machine tool hydraulic circuits don't push anywhere near that ceiling during normal operation, so you've got good headroom. Where you'd start to bump up against limits is in high-demand multi-actuator systems running simultaneously at full load, but for typical directional control work in machine tool environments, that flow capacity holds up well.
