flow rate on this thing is listed at 700 liters per minute, is that enough for press and die casting work or is it more suited to lighter duty stuff?

For press and die casting applications, 700 liters per minute is a serious amount of flow capacity. Those environments tend to demand high-volume, responsive directional control, and this valve is explicitly rated for both.
